Governors are increasingly aware of the importance of training,
particularly given the unremitting focus on governing body effectiveness,
not to mention their overflowing in-trays!
We really can help. Our long-standing experience of working with
governing bodies means that we understand their needs and concerns.
Utilising our in-house resources and our pool of associate trainers,
we offer both knowledge-based training and training focused on individual
or collective governor development. Courses are typically school-based.
However, we will shortly be launching our new Governor
Training Programme.
We can also offer training in any human resources or personal development
area, for example on recruitment and selection skills, to school
managers if required. We can provide this on an individual school
basis or a cluster basis.
