Whilst school-based training with the whole governing body can
be very effective, sometimes governors prefer to have a range of
courses to consider, particularly when they have individual needs,
for example a new governor. It is often helpful to learn from the
experience of governors from other schools as well.
With these considerations in mind, we have designed our new governor
training programme which will commence shortly. The programme will
consist of a termly set of courses available to all governors, using
